Get out your reusable totes and mesh veggie bags! Last weekend, I picked up 2 lbs of strawberries from Gigi’s Farmers Market that were so sweet, I think I got a cavity. That sugar high meant only one thing: farmers market season! Griffith Park (Starting 4/28/12)

The new Autry Farmers Market, sponsored by L.A. City Farm, holds its grand opening in the Autry parking lot on Saturday, April 28. The market will feature 16 local farmers and food vendors including Homeboy Bakery, Tutti Frutti Farms and Milkman Artisan Cheeses. Live music and games such as ping pong and bocce ball will also be on hand to keep patrons entertained.
