Lately, there’s been a lot of conflicting information in the news about the state of the L.A. housing market. Is it good, bad, slowing down? Since I’m actually in the trenches, I assure you that it’s still intense for the nicest 1% of homes. Some of these homes warrant the frenzy, but the vast majority don’t.

Priced at $499k, this 1911 California Bungalow in Glassell Park is so lovely as-is that it hurts to call it a cosmetic fixer. Let’s bask in that $499k price tag for a moment. I’m not saying that it won’t sell for more, but it’s soo refreshing to finally see a house that offers so many vintage goodies that hasn’t been flipped to oblivion.
