L.A. Weekend Non-Boring Guide 4/20-4/21
19 Apr 2013Looking for things to do in L.A. this weekend? You’re going to have to wear your stretchy pants because it’s going to be all about carbs, cheese, meat and Bourdain. On Saturday, the Grilled Cheese Invitational is back for an 11th year of ooey-gooey goodness in DTLA. Sure to sell out, $12 tickets gets you 12,000 calories. Just kidding—but pretty close. If you’re still hungry, head over to Grand Park to “celebrate L.A.’s taco culture” with live music, DJs and a gaggle of taco trucks at Taco Madness from noon to sunset–for free! Lastly, if you were as disappointed as I was by Anthony Bourdain’s last jaunt through L.A., be sure to check out his redemption visit with an homage to our beloved Koreatown, Sunday at 6PM on CNN. I’d make it night with a bottle of Jinro and a trip to your local KBBQ mecca. Have a great weekend!
