ABC 7 and the American Red Cross are hosting a relief drive at the Pasadena’s Rose Bowl for those affected by superstorm Sandy. If you can’t make it out by 6:30 tonight, you can donate online or donate blood.

09 Oct 2012Ballroom Blitz (5/5) Seven weeks before our wedding, my fiancé and I were still debating whether or not we should pull the first dance entirely and replace it with fire dancers for our destination wedding. We were not dancers and we dreaded the idea because we knew we sucked. That was until we met Anthony–comedian, dad and dance guru at Ballroom Blitz. Our goal was to learn a custom routine to go with our rare version of “Chasing Cars” by Snow Patrol.

Live from the Eagle Rock Music Festival
08 Oct 2012Colorado Blvd. hosted thousands of revelers at the 14th Annual Eagle Rock Music Festival this Saturday. East LA’s Las Cafeteras treated its massive crowd to a jubilant 30-minute performance with music from their first studio album, “It’s Time.” Even if you don’t understand Spanish, their joyful sound speaks a universal language that was simply infectious.
