Friday, 11/1: Red Cross Sandy Relief Drive
Here are some of the best, non-boring things to do in L.A.’s Eastside for the weekend of 11/2/12 to 11/4/12. ABC 7 and the American Red Cross are hosting a relief drive at the Pasadena’s Rose Bowl for those affected by superstorm Sandy. If you can’t make it out by 6:30 tonight, you can donate online or donate blood.

Dia de los Muertos at Grand Park
Shutout of the mayhem that was the Hollywood Forever Dia de los Muertos event last week? Fret not! Squeeze in some last minute marigold and calacas action at Grand Park! Celebrate with spectacular alters, food trucks, a full bar and live music from Mariachi El Bronx, El Conjunto Nueva Ola, Buyepongo.

Saturday 11/3: L.A. Derby Dolls Championship
Founded in 2003, the L.A. Derby Dolls are Southern California’s premiere women’s banked-track, quad-skating, roller derby league. The Dolls delivered an incredible 2012 home season. Check out the nail-biting finale going down this Saturday!

Sunday, 11/4: 13th Annual Japanese Food Festival
The 13th Annual Japanese Food Festival will feature a big tuna filleting show, sushi chef contest, sushi eating contest and live Taiko performance. Participants will enjoy unlimited sushi, ramen noodles, beef bowls, sake, shochu and an assortment of Japanese wines.
