Craftsman Flip Aims for $350k in 6 Months
25 Apr 2012Per the listing, this 1923 Craftsman in Eagle Rock was a victim of the December 2011 wind storms when a tree fell through the house. As such, this house is “newly built” because it was taken down to the framing. Located in Eagle Rock north of Colorado, it closed in October 2011 for $350k. Now re-listed for $699k, it’s currently the most expensive home on the market in the area. Selling points include all new systems, a retrofitted foundation, marble counters, George Nelson bubble chandelier, Toto toilet, Milgard low e windows. I’m not sure if a light fixture and a flashy can justifies a $350k upcharge, but perhaps the 400 sq. ft. master addition with vaulted ceilings, new bathroom and bonus room does. Then again, I still kind of prefer the original living room with the vintage oak floors.
