If you think flipping in Northeast L.A. is over, the folks at this 1922 California Bungalow in Highland Park certainly don’t think so. Sold in June 2013 for $355k, it resurfaced with a shiny new sticker price and nearly everything else you can throw into a higher-end flip.
Priced at $519k, sadly, very little of the old house remains–not even the typically restorable wood floors. Features include soaring vaulted ceilings, an open floor plan, modern kitchen, roomy walk-in closet and new systems.
Obviously, they dropped some serious cash here (by my estimate, about $60-80k) and are hoping you think the +$164k resale is worth every penny. What do you think? For more information, contact Vanessa Yan.
