Giving your bedroom a makeover is one of the easiest, most satisfying projects to take on. It can be as simple as reconfiguring furniture and getting new bedding to scratching your shabby chic motif for a sleek mid-century style.

Exhibit A: Dream bedroom

I’m currently working on recreating the room from the resort we got hitched at (see Exhibit “A”). Designed by superstar designer Dodd Mitchell, of The Abbey and Sushi Roku fame, I’m tackling it with some muted linen paint, a pair of Moroccan lamps and yards of shear drapes.
