The significance of today’s inauguration, on the day we honor Dr. King, is so profound that I’m nearly at a loss for words. As a triple minority American (female, Asian, Latina), I owe everything I have to him. Without the Civil Rights Movement, without his steady hand at the helm taking all the injustices, humiliations and indignities, I would not be here living this life of limitless opportunity and possibility.
