The Rooftop Bar at the Standard has a considerable seductive quality

It’s going to be another hot one Los Angeles! Here are some of the best, non-boring things to do in L.A.’s Eastside for the weekend of 9/14/12 to 9/16/12.

Nothing cools me down like a great view and great drink. Some of my favorite rooftop bars are Perch, The Standard and Ion Bar. For those of you who want some nosh with your view, be sure to check out Takami Sushi and WP24. All in DTLA and within stumbling distance of each other 🙂

Saturday, 9/15/12: Samba & Salsa in Silver Lake

Sweat it up with some spicy samba and salsa in Silver Lake

Learn to dance like my Brazilian and Colombian brethren and sweat off those margs and chocotinis by learning the basics of samba and salsa! Newbies of all fitness levels welcomed! Finish w/ an easy choreography and leave with a big 1000-calorie burned smile.
