Vintage Apartment: 94″ Long Locking Credenza, Wood and Brass, $1500

If you’re like me, you’ve probably wondered where super flippers ModOp, et al. get all their fancy pants Mid-Century furniture. Well, the secret is out and it’s right in our backyard. Sunbeam Vintage, located in an unassuming warehouse in Highland Park, is home to the most impressive collection of photogenic furnishing I’ve seen in L.A.

Seriously, I went in for a coffee table and left wondering if I had room for a new sideboard, reading chair and 6 aqua Eames shell chairs that were beckoning me to bring them home. Lucky for you, though it looks like a hoity toity Westside shop, it’s an Eastsider with fantastic looks at shockingly reasonable prices. So, why Ikea-it when you can get a vintage masterpiece?

Oh yeah, the owner is really cool, this is a mom n’ pop shop, and he and his wife are on the baby train, so don’t nickle and dime them.

6 Aqua Eames Shell Chairs, $500 – these are mine, so don’t even think about it

Hollywood Regency Mid-Century Campaign Coffee Table, $350–mine also, don’t touch

I want this couch. Mid-Century brass side table by Sarreid, $500
