Friday, 6/29/12: Seth MacFarlane’s “Ted“
“Ted” opens today and I’ve been counting down the days since I first saw the promo! For the record, I also loved “The Artist,” “Midnight in Paris,” “Slumdog Millionaire,” “The Sound of Music,” “West Side Story” and BOTH “Sex in the City” movies. If wanting to see “Ted” makes me wrong, I don’t wanna be right.
Saturday, 6/30/12: Griffith Park Shakespeare Festival
“The Winter’s Tale” will be performed tonight in Griffith Park. Pre-show events included free workshops led by ISC teaching artists. You can learn about the play, explore Shakespeare’s language, take a backstage tour and try out how it feels on the ISC stage.
