My cedar post mailbox is the cutest on the block!

What DIY project costs less than $150, can be completed in about an hour, but will add instant curb appeal to your home? A new mailbox! Just like your character home, your mailbox should reflect you and the style of your home. That being said, it should also be something you really love. A well thought-out piece that you really love is probably the most important element in creating character.

There are 3 mailbox varieties: door slot, wall mount and post mount. These ideas are for the last two. Wall mount boxes are easiest to replace, while post boxes may require some digging, purchase of a wood, metal or synthetic post and of course, the mailbox itself.
