Join some of the most ravenous and active Los Angeles Eastside Yelpers for the 3rd Annual Great Highland Park Taco Crawl. At last count, more than 99 well-connected Eastside gluttons & foodies have confirmed!
Message from the organizer: Five different taco stands. About a half mile walking. Plenty of liquor markets along the way to brown bag it. Finishing it off with The York (and maybe Verdugo Bar). Stops will include La Estrella, El Pique and Tacos de Pelon taco trucks.
We will be at the first stop, La Estrella, for at least 20 minutes. If you don’t meet us there, just drive east on York until you see a big party of people who clearly do not belong.

From the organizer: The Fourth Annual Pasadena PinotFest–sponsored by Pasadena’s top-rated Noir Food & Wine–promises once again to be a palate-satisfying series of spectacular events from Jan. 15 through Feb. 11, 2012. A month-long celebration of the wonderful world of Pinot Noir, events include gourmet winemaker dinners as well as wine tastings at Noir Food & Wine. The festival will culminate with a Grand Public Tasting at the Altadena Town & Country Club on Feb. 11, which will feature wines from more than 100 wineries.

The public and a panel of celebrity judges will each vote on tehri favorite cupcakes, culminating in the crowning of LAs best traditioanl and non-traditional cupcakes.
