Schlessinger House

The 1956 Philip & Phyllis Schlessinger house designed by R.M. Schindler in Los Feliz has sold for $600k. Just steps from the Shakespeare Bridge, this  1258 sq. ft. mid-century was the last known Schindler home and included many of the furnishings he designed. Aside from upgrades to the plumbing and electricity, this piece of architectural history has remained essentially intact. The new owner, former NPR producer Chumi Paul, plans to restore the house.
