Debut of the Day: Breathtaking 1912 Craftsman in Highland Park

As if the scale, the moldings, the original built-ins, leaded glass windows and park-like grounds weren’t enough, this stunning Craftsman was also declared a Los Angeles historical monument in 1988 (Monument #370). Dubbed the Herivel House, it was built in 1912 by Meyer & Holler Architects as part of Professors Row for Occidental College faculty who often walked to campus.
